After a string of successful and fun events, SPEED has made the Sub Club basement its home turf. Returning Friday August 19th (11 PM -☀️), SPEED is ready to create another night of fun, fast, furious and frantic electronic dance music as it announces its first-ever international headline act, Xuri (DNK).

" Through a soundscape of fast-paced throbbing beats, alongside ghostly entities and modern-classical sound, Xuri, the alias of Susanne Benther Mouritsen has explored and expanded her field of practice over many new frontiers of sound, visual and VR. A utilisation of music that explores the potential of ceremonial engagement, Xuri enters the shadows of imaginary space and dwells in the spring of creation. 

Her use of rave aesthetics and hazy hallucinatory sound imagery has mutated into a hard-hitting techno project as Parietal Eye on Mama Snake’s Amniote Editions label makes her a perfect match made in heaven for a late winter's night down in the darkness of sub club’s basement. " 

SPEED is so very excited to see how Xuri responds to its call and we want you all to be there together to experience it with us. 

Joining Xuri for the night will be local heavyweights Cloudy Ku, Eek, Hasvat Informant and Moopie. Both Cloudy Ku and Hasvat Informant have released music alongside Xuri on Amniote Editions, with this event acting as a little bit of a label family get together in the hardest way possible. Joining the family to bring the SPEED is none other than everyone's favourite DJ Moopie and eek, who will not only be on visuals for the event but also playing an extra special b2b set with Cloudy Ku to round out this absolute dream lineup that will need to be seen to be believed.
